Jacob McNamee is an embedded systems and firmware engineer based in San Francisco, CA. He specializes in firmware development from early hardware bringup through production for connected real-time devices such as the Bia GPS Sports Watch and the Nima Food Allergen Sensor. He has also worked on an Indoor Real-Time Location System, a High-Accuracy GNSS Receiver, and a battery system which would become part of a Luxury Electric Vehicle, among others.

Jacob holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he focused on digital signal processing and electromagnetics and served as a lead teaching assistant in the digital design lab.
